Online Shopping: Taking the Hassle Out of Shopping
As someone who has never been a fan of crowds or mall shopping, online shopping has been the best thing to happen to finding anything I could ever need… it’s also the worst thing too, but that’s only in the sense that I end up browsing for and finding things that I don’t need, too. I can find practically anything I could ever imagine, or if I can’t find it, I find someone to make it for me. I can shop around for best prices, coupon codes, best quality, and find the exact model of the item I need. I’m sure to check the return policy before I buy an item online, and I always do my homework to make sure a site is legitimate.
Things to wear: Clothing shopping online for specific items is the best. I don’t have to go from store to store looking for a black dress, with a touch of lace on it, but not too much, just a little. I can browse through 300 dresses over the course of just a few minutes, narrow it down the my top three, order them all, try them on in my own home instead of in a poorly lighted dressing room, and return the ones I don’t like. I can even try it out with the shoes I want to wear with it, yeah I ordered those too, 4.9 stars on the reviews is hard to beat.
Make your house look good: You can buy anything you may need in your home online. I bought a pillow. The one I sleep on every night. I never felt it before I received it, and based my purchase on reading a couple dozen reviews on it. It’s the most comfortable pillow I’ve owned. Even if you don’t want to buy an item sight unseen, you can use online shopping to compare and shop around so you know which stores to hit to find the items you want. Or you can just return it if you don’t like it. It can be anything from a soap dish to kitchen cabinets.
A place to park the car, and the car itself: While you may not be able to make the actual purchase online, you can search around for the vehicle or home, compare details, find a vehicle or house history and get preapproved for a car or home loan all online. This is a huge time saver for people who don’t want to spend the day driving around looking for a house or listening to a car salesman try to convince you to buy a car that you have no interest in.
Things to Entertain the Little Ones: Best part of toy shopping online is that you don’t have to end up in the toy store with a small child who wants every doll, truck or hit new game they pass. You can search around for the place with the best deals and read what people’s reactions are to the toys. We decided to get my niece a play kitchen for Christmas, and browsed through a few before deciding on one. We knew ahead of time, thanks to the reviews, that we’d be dedicating half a day to assembling the thing, but they assured us it was completely worth the effort. It was.
Gifts for the Difficult One on the List: Online shopping is to thank for finding that gift for weird Uncle Rick. He pretty much only loves duck hunting and drinking Earl Grey it seems, so thank you internet for the suggestion of the mallard shaped tea kettle.
